With work noted as ‘powerful and daring’, Kate Strickland-Wright, BA (Hons), MA (CW) (Open) is a writer who has created work described as ‘exposing injustice’ that is ‘engaging and impressive’.

 

Kate gained a Masters in Creative Writing with Distinction from The Open University, has a Batchelor's degree in English Literature from UEA, and writes and publishes under pseudonym. As a devoted and firm advocate for creative arts, and a regular visitor at literary festivals, Kate has been interviewed both regionally and nationally in both magazines and on radio. Traditionally published, Kate is particularly interested in how writers from all backgrounds and locations can engage a wider audience for both creative writing and business writing. Kate runs regular writers' workshops to enable others to develop their craft and engage their target audience, while providing support and encouragement. As a poet, Kate also attends open mics and writes on many subjects.

 

Kate set up Strickland Write to provide a friendly, accessible, and affordable service to support writers of all types. Drawing upon fifteen years in management in both the private and third sector, along with her academic learning, Kate helps those writing to be achieve accessible and purposeful results.

With a breadth of professional experience in strategy, marketing, recruitment, construction, design, charity and business development, Kate is dedicated to providing accessible, affordable, and professional copywriting services to all writers. Kate's writing has been featured in The Liverpool Echo, North West Architecture project books, magazines for GPs and Healthcare professionals, food and drink magazines, The Prison Times, The Catholic Universe among many others. Kate has also undertaken radio interviews with the BBC, Premier Radio and UCB.
